YO!!! This is About Me!

You know my name, well at least one of them. And if you have read one of my books then you know some of my story. But for those of you that are new here, a quick synopsis is due. I am originally from the Westside of Montgomery, Alabama. I served in the active and reserve components of the United State Army for a few years. I graduated from Troy University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration & accounting. Soon to be an alum of The Prairie View Agricultural and Mechanical University (PVAMU) with an MBA. And I have been an accountant for multiple years. Now that we have all of the generic stuff out of the way, here is the good stuff that you came here for. 

 

I am a Kingdom-minded, Christ submitted and committed husband to the intelligent and beautiful Rev. Jasmine Evans-Swan M. DIV. I am a progressively protective girl dad to three magnificently, smart, and gorgeous young women. I am the oldest son to the most kind-hearted, prettiest young lady inside and out, and Christ-loving mother Martha Swan-Davis. My principles are simple: kingdom first, taking care of my ladies, being the solid man that God built me up to be, and being a guiding light to the young people to be true to their maker, take care of their families, and build up their communities all while being smart, educated, cool, fashionable, unchained and their most unapologetic selves.

 

I have always been a creative. Venturing into spoken and written words since my youth. Playing multiple instruments and singing in the choir in my teenage years were great passions of mine. Since I could remember I have always been into the visual arts. Developing my sketching, drawing, and painting skills since I could use a crayon. During my time on active duty, I was known for walking around our leisure time, videoing all of our escapades. Fashion has been part of me since my 5th grade year in elementary school when my Aunt Sally taught me how to "put that shit on". Those active-duty days my nickname was "Dat Ol' Flashy Azz Swan". My crew and I would have shopping trips to Nurnberg, Germany, and other places often to rock the flyest of apparel at the time.

 

Now that you know all of this. You need to know why I created R. K. Swan Media. Which is to show and prove to the youth that you can be everything God called you to be and not have to give the world one piece of what does not belong to it. I am a testament to God's abundance; however, my story took a few detours. Young king and queen you do not have to. R. K. Swan Media will help you on the way!
